Look at their portfolio beyond instagram. Does it align with the images you envision for your wedding? Make sure you look at images of not only bouquets, but arches, installations, centerpieces, etc. An experienced floral designer should have a variety of work on their website that shows that they can execute the work needed during a wedding!
Ask your planner and photographer if they recommend the floral designer! Good vendor relationships make all the difference in the world. When vendors can trust each other, your wedding will go seamlessly! Your planner will know if someone is or isn’t trustworthy, and as much as budget matters, what’s most important is that you get what you were promised for one of the most important events of your life!
Don’t book the florist that’s the cheapest, or even the one with the nicest pictures. Book the florist with the BEST customer service! Luxury can be a lot of things, but a client experience that is professional, mutually respectful, organized is the foundation of luxury. Choose a designer that communicates clearly, has a solid contract, and that others speak highly of.
